Eleanor DeMarco (Gionfriddo), 92 years old, of New Britain, CT passed away on October 22, 2025.

She was born on July 2, 1933 in New Britain, CT to John and Mary Gionfriddo.  She studied piano and voice at Yale and Julliard, and was a gifted classical pianist.

Eleanor is survived by her son, Christopher DeMarco. She is predeceased by her parents and her two sisters, Santina Zimmitti (Gionfriddo) and Angelina Florie (Gionfriddo).  In her last years she was lucky enough to spend time with her youngest grandson, Nicholas DeMarco, who brought her much joy.

A calling hour will be held on Tuesday, October 28, 2025 from 10 AM to 11 AM at Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home, 411 S. Main St., New Britain.
