Elaine B. Lentini

Elaine B. Lentini of New Britain, beloved wife of the late John C. Lentini for over 50 years, peacefully passed away on April 20, 2024. She was born in 1936 in Green Lake Township, Minnesota to the late Harvey Borde and Bertha J. Olsen.

Elaine’s pride and joy was being a stay at home mom raising her four children.  Once her children were all grown up, Elaine took on several retail positions.  In addition, she became an Avon Representative for over 30 years enjoying handling the beauty needs of her many customers.

Elaine leaves behind her four children, Donna Murphy (Jim), Christine Wrobel (Jim), John C. Lentini (Marian) and Mark Lentini (Christine).  In addition she leaves her grandchildren, Sarah Murphy Neimitz (David), Christopher Murphy (Annette), Michelle Morneault (David), Holli Metcalf (Matt Skehan), Arielle Michael (Zach), Hailey Tharp, Henry Milstead, Shannon Novakoski (Brandon), and her great grandchildren, William Neimitz, Marceline Murphy, Vincent Ryder, Madelynn Skehan, Ethan, Roxanna, Colson and Lillian Michael, Barrett and Ann Novakoski, brother-in-laws Anthony Lentini (Sis) and Robert Lentini (Judy), as well as several nieces and nephews. Elaine was predeceased by her sister Adeline Erckson.

The family would like to express their sincere gratitude and appreciation to the staff and caregivers at Arbor Rose and Southington Care Center for all of their kindness and care that was shown to Elaine during her time there.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, April 30, 2024 at 11 AM at Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home, 411 South Main St., New Britain.  Burial will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Stanley Street, New Britain, CT.  A calling hour will be on Tuesday from 10 AM until the time of the service.
