Edward Michael Kus

Edward Michael Kus, 92, of New Britain, passed away peacefully on Saturday, Dec. 2, 2017 at the Hospital of Central CT in New Britain surrounded by his loving family.  He was the husband of the late Claire (Strajkowski) Kus who died Sept. 28, 2017 and with whom he shared 63 years of marriage.

Born in New Britain, Edward was the son of the late Michael and Mary Kus. He was a lifelong New Britain resident and was member of Sacred Heart Church.  Edward was formerly employed at Fafnir Bearing Co. for many years, retiring in 1982.

Surviving are a son Gary Kus of Berlin; two daughters and sons-in-law, Karen and Gary Budnick of Bristol, and Nancy and Daniel Kelly of New Britain; a sister, Helen Nowak of New Britain; and by his grandchildren, Steven and Allison Budnick, Ashley and Kyle Kus, and Tyler and Ryan Kelly.  He was predeceased by a brother, Theodore Kush and by two sisters, Amelia Strajkowski and Stasia Generous.
