Eduardo AJ Basigalup, 93, of New Britain, Connecticut, passed on April 19, 2026. Born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, Eduardo dedicated 40 years of service to his community as a security officer at New Britain General Hospital before retirement.

He found his greatest joy in the beauty of life, taking pride in his vibrant rose garden, traveling with his family, and savoring fine wines. He especially loved Argentine barbecuing and listening to classical opera.

Eduardo is predeceased by his mother Adela; his father Amador; his sister Betty Basigalup and daughter Alexandra Burgess Basigalup.

He is survived by his beloved wife Honnie Dalton Basigalup; his sons Gustavo, Edward and Christopher; his daughters-in-law Lisa and Lori; his grandchildren Liam, Tyler, Matthew, and Megan; and his great grandchild Gage.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Dementia Foundation. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered by those who loved him.
