Edna M. Saucier

Edna Saucier, 80, of New Britain and wife of the late Leonide Joseph Saucier, passed away on April 3, 2010, at Brittany Farms Health Center. Born in St. Agathe, Maine, she was the daughter of Ernest and EmmaCollins Martin. She is predeceased by her son Steven Saucier and survived by her two sons David Saucier of Bristol, Garry and his wife Gail Saucier and her two grandchildren Michael and Rachel Saucier, all of Meriden. Edna is also survived by sisters Priscille Dubois and Theresa Morin of Lewiston, Maine, and Viola McClaughlin of Ft. Myers, Florida; stepsisters Theresa Albert, Candide Livingston and Hilda Foss of Maine. She is predeceased by four brothers Luc, Alcide, Donat and Lido Martin; stepbrothers Victorion, Paul, Xavier, Adrian, Althie and Wilfred Chasse; stepsisters Rose, Irene, Modeste, Albertine and Alphena. Relatives and friends may call Wednesday from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home, 411 South Main Street, New Britain. The funeral service will be held Thursday at 8:30 a.m. at Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m. at St. Francis of Assisi Church, 1755 Stanley St., New Britain. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.
