Edna Feehley, 73, of New Britain, died Tuesday, Dec. 30, 2008 at the Hospital of Central Connecticut. Born in Willimantic, CT, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary Jane Vertefeuille. She lived in Willimantic until moving to New Britain in 1985. Edna was formerly employed as a bus driver at Dattco for 10 years before retiring. She was a member of St. John's the Evangelist Church. Surviving are three children and their spouses, Linda and Steven Kalista of Washington state, John and Karen Mitchell of Willimantic, and Anna and Luis Santiago of New Britain; her grandchildren, Brian McKinney and his wife Jessica, Tiffany Menard, Alishia Rivera, Luis Santiago Jr., Amalya Santiago, Steven Kalista, John Mitchell Jr., and Natalie Kalista; and her great-grandchildren, Jacob McKinney, Riley McKinney, Ava McKinney, and Lanayjah Santiago; a special friend, Dorothy Costa; and many nieces, nephews, and other friends. Edna was predeceased by a daughter, Mary Jane Feehley-Menard and by a son, Richard Mitchell. Funeral services will be private. There are no calling hours.
