Edna Lorraine Anderson-Miller

Edna Lorraine Anderson-Miller, 91, of Cromwell, CT, after a brief illness, went to her rest on Wednesday, Jan. 12, 2005. She was the widow of Ralph Miller. Born in Corning, Iowa, she was the daughter of the late Lew and Hattie Gay Thompson. She was a former resident of Red Oak, IA and Mesa, AZ before moving to Cromwell in 2000. Edna was a former member of the First Covenant Church and the Rebecca Lodge in Red Oak. One of her greatest joys in life was working as a professional tour director with Continental Trailway's Bus Lines. Through writing, producing and directing staged musicals, she shared her love for music and humor with others. Surviving are three sons, Charles Anderson of Swanzey, NH, Steven Anderson of Belle Plaine, MN,and Philip Anderson of Palm Harbor, FL; a brother, Dale Thompson of Burbank, CA; eight grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and her former husband, Clifford Anderson of Afton, WY. A memorial service will be held at 2pm on Tuesday, Jan. 18, 2005 at the Pilgrim Manor Chapel in Cromwell. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Benevolent Care Fund at CVOC, 52 Missionary Rd., Cromwell, CT 06416.
