Edison Irizarry

Edison Irizarry, 62, of New Britain, passed away peacefully on Thursday, Aug. 27, 2015 at Andrew House Healthcare. Born in San German, Puerto Rico, he was a New Britain resident for over 40 years. He was formerly employed at Stanley Works and was a member of St. Mary Church. Surviving are four sons, Edison Irizarry II, Edison Irizarry III, Omar Irizarry, and Daniel Irizarry; his father Edison Irizarry Amely and his wife Maria Lugo Irizarry; three brothers, Jose Ithier, Eddie A . Irizarry, and Jose A . Irizarry; three sisters, Luz Irizarry, Luz Moran and Brenda Irizarry; ten grandchildren and one great-grandchild. The family would also like to thank the Andrew House Healthcare and their staff for taking good care of our beloved Edison and making him feel at home for the past year. Funeral services and calling hours will be held on Monday from 12 Noon until 2pm at Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home, 411 So. Main St., New Britain. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.
