Dorothy May Warner Laporte

Dorothy May Warner LaPorte, 85, formerly of Meriden and Southington, died Thursday, April 6, 2006 at Brittany Farms Healthcare Center. Born in Bristol, she was a former Plantsville resident. She was formerly employed at Meriden-Wallingford Hospital as a dietary aid in food service and was a member of St. Joseph Church in Meriden. Surviving are her loving companion of many years, Joseph Deckleman; three daughters, MaryAnn Bilodeau, Sandra DelBuono, and Barbara DeLuco; two sons, Joseph F. LaPorte and Andrew Dean LaPorta. A graveside service will be held Monday at 2:00 PM at St. Thomas Cemetery in Bristol. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Connecticut Children's Medical Center, 282 Washington St., Hartford, CT. Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home, New Britain, is in charge of arrangements.
