Dorothy J. Pellegrino

Dorothy J. Pellegrino, 79, of Sequonia Trail in East Hampton passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 24, 2004 after a brief illness. Born in New Britain, the daughter of the late William Swanson and Alma Swanson Moylan, she is also predeceased by two brothers, Neil and William Moylan. Dorothy was a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and local antique dealer. She retired from Aetna Life and Casualty, in Hartford in 1987 after 20 years. She is survived by three sons and a daughter, Michael Pellegrino of East Hampton, Gary Sullivan of East Hampton, Steven Pellegrino of Danbury, NH and Judy Phelps of Chelan, WA. She was predeceased by a son Donald Sullivan of Dover, DE. She leaves seven cherished grandchildren and two great-grandchildren, Kelly Sullivan of East Hampton, Deanna, Manie, Bryan and Angela Pellegrino of Danbury, NH, Jeremiah and Julian Shaver of Chelan, WA, Kyle Sullivan and Alex Brewer of East Hampton. Arrangements are being made by Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home in New Britain. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 27 at 11:00 AM the Haddam Neck Covenant Church, 17 Haddam Neck Rd., East Hampton, CT. Directions to the church - take route 66 East to Cobalt, go south on route 151 for 3.4 miles to Haddam Neck Road, take a right onto Haddam Neck Rd and the church will be on your right #17.
