Doris Anna Ritchie

Doris Anna Seipel Ritchie, 72, of Kensington, wife of Arvid Ritchie, died unexpectedly at home on Monday, March 29, 2010. Born in New Britain, she was the daughter of the late Conrad Louis Seipel and Anna Schmidt Seipel. Doris was a resident of New Britain before moving to Kensington 70 years ago. She was formerly employed as a Licensed Practical Nurse at several area convalescent homes. In addition to her husband Arvid, she is survived by two sons, Stephen Arvid Ritchie and his wife Barbara, Robert Lewis Ritchie and his wife Rachel, all of Kensington, and her grandchildren, Michelle Amanda Ritchie and Taylor Michelle Ritchie. Doris was predeceased by her brother, Robert Seipel. Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 11:00 AM at Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home, 411 So. Main St. New Britain. Burial will be in West Lane Cemetery. Calling hours are Wednesday from 6-8 PM at the funeral home.
