Donald Thure Wennberg

Donald Thure Wennberg, 67, of Bristol, husband of Betty Nyborg Wennberg, died unexpected on Wednesday, Aug. 27, 2003 at Hartford Hospital. Born in New Britain, he was the son of Greta Johnson Wennberg of Farmington and the late Thorsten Wennberg. He was a former resident of New Britain before moving to Bristol 41 years ago. He was a self-employed Tile Contractor and was a member of the First Congregational Church in Bristol and the Berlin Fish and Game Club. In addition his wife Betty, and mother Greta, he is survived by two sons, Bruce Wennberg and Douglas Wennberg, both of Bristol; two brothers, Roy Wennberg of Kensington and Thorsten Wennberg of Bristol; two grandchildren, Kira Avery and her husband Joshua of Windham, and Kimberly Wennberg of Bristol; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 10:00 AM at the First Church of Christ, Bristol. Burial will be in Peacedale Cemetery.
