Domingo Rodriguez

Domingo Rodriguez, 72, of New Britain, passed away on Friday, January 16, 2026 at the Hospital of Central CT in New Britain. He was the husband of Maria (Malave) Rodriguez.

Born in Caguas, Puerto Rico, he was the son of the late Felix and Natividad (Galarza) Rodriguez. Domingo was a member of St. Mary Church.

In addition to his wife, Maria, Domingo is survived by his son, Daniel Rodriguez; his daughter, Yaritz Rodriguez; his granddaughter, Gissel Diaz Rodriguez; and his siblings, Leonor, Pablo, Alcidez, Heriberto, Felix, Ana Hilda, Hiram, Mercedes, Orlando, and Edna Luz. He was predeceased by his brothers, Miguel Angel, Eduardo, Fernando, Jose, and Erasmo.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, January 23, 2026 at 11 AM at St. Mary Church of St. Joachim Parish, 544 Main St, New Britain. Burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery. A calling hour will be held Friday morning from 9:30 to 10:30 AM at Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home, 411 So. Main St., New Britain.
