Dolores Bourgoin

Dolores Bourgoin, 91, of New Britain, died Saturday, April 19, 2008. She was the widow of Armand Bourgoin. She died on the day that would have been her 56th Wedding Anniversary. Born in Madawaska, ME on Nov. 22, 1916, she was the daughter of the late Pierre and Hedwige Fongemie Dionne. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother and sister. Dolores was a member of St. Joseph Church. Surviving are two daughters and sons-in-law, Doris and Ray Belanger of New Britain, Marita and Randy Derby, of New Britain; a son Donald Bourgoin of New Britain; a very special grandson and his wife, Gary and Yajaira Bourgoin of New Britain; two very special great-grandchildren, Joshua and Veronica Bourgoin; and a sister, Geraldine Cyr of Newington. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by two sisters, Theresa Lachance and Ursule Landgo, and by two brothers, Dolar Dionne and Alcide Dionne. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 8:00 AM at Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home, 411 S. Main St., New Britain followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:00 AM at St. Joseph Church. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery. Calling hours are Tuesday from 6-8 PM.
