Diane M. Morra

Diane M. (Hazelwood) Morra, 69, of Meriden, exited this life just as she lived it, with grace and strength, surrounded by family and friends. Born in Providence, RI, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Carmelita (Doyle) Hazelwood. Before retiring, Diane was the Director of Program Services and Director of Individualized/Children Services at the Arc of Meriden-Wallingford, Inc. She received the Arc of Meriden-Wallingford's Lifetime Achievement Award and also received an award from a children's group here in Meriden. Surviving are three children, Joseph Morra and his children, Michelle, Heather, and Matthew Morra; Rhonda Morra and her husband James Tracy; and Dawn McClintock, her husband Bruce, and their children Nicole and Shawn McClintock. Also surviving are her sister Kathleen Cooney, her husband Richard, and their children Michael, Ashley, and Bryan; and many friends who have provided much happiness and support. The family would like to thank the doctors and staff at MidState Medical Center for their compassion and assistance. Calling hours will be held on Saturday from 10 AM to 12 noon at Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home, 411 So. Main St., New Britain.
