Desmond L. Brown

Desmond L. Brown (Bob Marley) of New Britain CT, beloved son and father departed his life unexpectedly on Saturday December 28, 2019. Desmond was born on July 4, 1984 in New Britain CT to Barbara Mack-Owens and Lawton Brown (Predeceased). He leaves behind his beloved mother Barbara Mack-Owens (Richard Owens) of New Britain CT. Desmond is survived by one son Desmond Brown Jr. of New Britain CT, two sisters, Tonica Cason of Columbus Georgia, Shawanda Lattimore-Wakefield (Justin Wakefield) of New Britain CT. Desmond also leaves four brothers Livingston Brown of Stafford CT, Keith and Gary Brown of Jamaica, and Len Brown of London, England. He also leaves behind a host of aunts and uncles of Georgia, Cynthia Ann Stanley, Ethel lee Mack, Willie And Carol Mack, Pastor Gregory and Tamara Mack, Minister Freddie and Carla Mack Jr. two nieces and one nephew Tanisha Reneè Cason, Harvey Lee Cason III and Anisa Rānae Wakefield.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 3, 2020 at Bethesda Apostolic Church, 249 Stanley Street, New Britain CT, 06051 from 10:30 am – 12:30 pm. Calling hours are 9:30 am to 10:30 am at the church.  Burial will follow the funeral service in Fairview Cemetery.

Funeral arrangements are in care of Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home, 411 South Main Street, New Britain, CT 06051.  Flowers should be delivered to the funeral home.
