Denise Velez Paige

Denise A. Velez Paige, 57, of New Britain, died unexpectedly Saturday, June 12, 2010 at home. Born in New Britain, she was the daughter of Anthony and Lillian Paige. She was a homemaker and loved to travel to Puerto Rico to share time with her children and grandchildren. She is survived by a son, David Cahill; four daughters, Melissa, Antoinette, Lisa, and Jessie Velez; two brothers, Tony Paige and Patsy Paige; one sister, Arlene Paige; twelve grandchildren that she loved dearly; several nieces and nephews; and her best friend and baby, her cat "Ashes". Funeral services and calling hours will be held on Wednesday from 7-8 PM at Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home, 411 So. Main St., New Britain.
