Deborah S. Cardello

Deborah Smith Cardello, 79, of Kensington, died Friday, May 10, 2002 at New Britain General Hospital. She was the beloved wife of Patrick P. Cardello, Sr. Born in Cromwell, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Deborah Berry Smith. She has been a Berlin resident since 1958 and was formerly employed in the cafateria at Berlin High School. Deborah was a member of St. Paul's Church. In addition to her husband Patrick, she is survived by three sons and daughters-in-law, Robert A. and Joan Cardello of Marco Island, FL, Patrick P. Cardello Jr. and Lynne Cardello of Kensington, Barry A. and Nancy Cardello of Kensington, two daughters and a son-in-law, Deborah A. and Dennis Cavallo of Berlin, and Darlene A. Cardello of Stuart, FL, eleven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 9:00 AM on Thursday, May 16, 2002 at Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home, 411 So. Main St., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM at St. Paul's Church, Kensington. Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Hartford. Calling hours will be on Wednesday from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Salvation Army, 78 Franklin Sq. New Britain, CT 06051.
