David Joseph Pastore

David Joseph Pastore, 67, of New Britain, passed away on Wednesday, June 22, 2016 at the Hospital of Central CT in New Britain.

Born in New Britain, he was the son of the late Joseph and Dorothy (Whitney) Pastore.  David was a life-long New Britain resident and was formerly employed at Stanley Steel Strapping and Acme Strapping, before retiring.

Surviving are three sisters, Karen Fongemie, Kim Skorupski, and Denise Pastore; a brother Joseph Pastore Jr. and his wife Robin; his nieces and nephews, Jaime Warren, Joshua Skorupski, Jason Fongemie, Jaclyn Skorupski, Jessica Williams, Jodie Pastore, Joseph Pastore, and Jesse Pastore; many grandnieces, grandnephews, and cousins; and his two dogs, Jade and Chance.

Funeral services will be held on Monday at 12 noon at Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home, 411 So. Main St., New Britain.  Burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery.  Calling hours are Monday morning from 10 AM until the time of the service.
