David Alan Conklin

David A. Conklin, 49, of Middlefield, formerly of Newington, died Tuesday, April 29, 2008 at Middlesex Hospital. Born in New Britain, he was the son of the late Charles E. and Faith Ringquist Conklin. David was a master cabinetmaker for many years. He was also a talented musician and enjoyed playing pool. Surviving are his daughter and son-in-law Kristie Conklin-Rollins and Michael Rollins of Enfield, his son David James Conklin of Newington, two brothers James Conklin of TN, Roger Conklin of Chicopee, MA, two sisters Andrea Zwick of Newington, Karen Corley of Middlefield, two grandsons, Gavin and Michael Rollins Jr., a special nephew Greg Conklin and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held on Sunday at 5:00 pm at Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home, 411 So. Main St. New Britain. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. Calling hours will be on Sunday from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm at the funeral home.
