Darlene Ann Jeanetti

Darlene Ann Jeanetti, 76, of Newington passed away on Friday, Feb. 2, 2024 at the Hospital of Central CT in New Britain.

Born in New Britain, she was the daughter of the late Guido and Ruth (Mangone) Gallo.  Darlene was a former New Britain resident before moving to Newington 16 years ago.  She was formerly employed by the State of Connecticut before retiring. Darlene was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Church and a former member of the Ladies Guild at church. Darlene loved animals, especially cats, and enjoyed traveling in her earlier years.

Surviving are her son, Steven Jeanetti of New Britain and his son Nicholas; a brother, Gary Gallo, his wife Marsha, and their children, Amy, Jill, and Kathleen; a niece, Kim Eshoo; several cousins including Roger Manulla and Joshua “Jay” Eddy; a dear friend, Karin Gervais; and her cat Gabby.

Funeral service will be held privately at Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home in New Britain.  Burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
