Darismaly Alamo

Darismaly Alamo, 13, beloved daughter of Marienie and Jose Vendrell of New Britain, died peacefully on Saturday, Jan. 20, 2007 at Connecticut Children's Medical Center. Darismaly was born in New Britain and was loved by all who knew her. In addition to her parents, she is survived by two brothers, Joseph Vendrell and Jaeden Vendrell; her grandparents, Maria and Rafael Morales of CT and Lydia Rivera of FL; her aunt, Maria Caban; her uncle Javier Alamo; and many other aunts, uncles and loving family in Florida and Puerto Rico. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 12:00 PM at Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home, 411 S. Main St. New Britain. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery. Calling hours are Tuesday from 7-9 PM. The family would like to thank the Connecticut Children's Medical Center, the doctors and nurses on M-6, and the entire staff of the Pediatric ICU for their loving care and support.
