Daniel Labieniec

It is with great sadness that the family of Daniel Labieniec announces his sudden passing on Tuesday, November 20, 2018, at the age of 63 years.

Dan was preceded in death by his parents, Barbara (Norton) and Leonard. He will be lovingly remembered by his siblings, Laura (David) Pintel of Columbia, Missouri, Tom (Lori) Labieniec of Phoenix, Arizona, and Michelle (Eric) Despard of Pownal, Vermont, their children, Emily, Ben, Adrian, Lauren, and Liam, as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

In his youth, he lived in Southington, England, and Virginia, and spent the last 10 years residing in New Britain. He worked for years at the Skinner Factory in New Britain and retired from retail. He attended The Art Institute of Philadelphia and he spent most of his life drawing and painting. In addition to art, he was also passionate about music, reading, fishing, the beach, tennis, and the natural world. He loved his family and brought his unique character to the many adventures he had in his life.

A memorial service will be held at a later time to celebrate his life.
