Daniel James Briganti

Daniel James Briganti, 35, of New Britain, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, March 23, 2018.

Born in New Britain, he was a former resident of Colchester before returning to New Britain.  Daniel was formerly employed at Stop and Shop and at UPS.  He was a member of St. John the Evangelist Church in New Britain.  Daniel loved sports, and was a devoted fan of the Celtics, Red Sox, Patriots, Whalers, and Rangers.  He was a former Boy Scout, and enjoyed the outdoors, hiking, music, and video games.

Surviving are his mother and step father, Kathleen and Christopher Turner of Colchester; his father, Angelo Briganti of New Britain; three brothers and a sister, Joseph Turner, Zachary Turner, Evan Turner; and Kristen Turner, all of Colchester; his grandparents, Francis and Dorothy McLaughlin of New Britain and Marilyn Turner of Manchester; and a nephew, Charles Turner.  He was predeceased by his grandparents, Giuseppe and Santina Briganti, and Allan Turner.
