Dalila Vasquez

Dalila Vasquez, 67, of New Britain, passed away on Monday, Nov. 6, 2017 at home.  Born in Puerto Rico, she was the daughter of the late Juan Vasquez and Carmen Caraballo.  She was a New Britain resident most of her life and was a member of Iglesia El Buen Samaritano Jose de Diego in New Britain.

Surviving are two children, Marilyn Mejia and William Miranda; her boyfriend, Jorge Ponce; many brothers and sisters including Joel Vasquez, Orlando Vasquez, Juan Vasquez, Carlos Vasquez, Luis Vasquez, Carmen Vasquez, Isa Vasquez, Elizabeth Vasquez, and Awilda Vasquez; and eight grandchildren, Amanda Mejia, Gabriella Mejia, Christina Mejia, Luis Angel Ortiz, John Miranda, Iviana Miranda, Jaydies Miranda, and Nayeli Miranda.  She was predeceased by a son, Elias Miranda, and by a brother William Vasquez.

Funeral services and calling hours will be held at Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home on Wednesday from 6-8 PM and on Thursday at 10 AM.   Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.
