Clara Irizarry
Clara Irizarry, 96, of New Britain, passed away on Monday, Dec. 3, 2018 at the Hospital of Central CT in New Britain surrounded by her loving family. Born in Puerto Rico, she was the daughter of the late Ventura Irizarry and Maria Belen Roman. Clara was a New Britain resident for over 30 years and was a member of St. Mary Church.
Surviving are four sons, Robert Ortiz, Nelson Ortiz, Jose Torres and Felix Alicea; a daughter, Diane; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services and calling hours will be held on Thursday from 10 AM to 12 Noon at Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home, 411 So. Main St., New Britain. Burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery.
