Claire B. Lascinski, age 91, passed away peacefully, Friday, June 28, at the Newington R. R. Rehab Facility. She was the daughter of the late Lucian and Josephine Labieniec of New Britain and the widow of Stanley F. Lascinski, a former New Britain police officer. Claire was a nurse who enjoyed caring for the elderly and worked at several convalescent homes. Her career was cut short by cancer. She was a four-time cancer survivor. She loved cooking, baking, decorating, listening to Barbara Streisand and Frank Sinatra, and spending time with her dogs.
