Christopher Rinaldi

Christopher Rinaldi, 55, of Unionville, entered into eternal rest unexpectedly at his home.

He was born in New Britain, graduating from New Britain High School in 1983.  He lived life every day with happiness and positivity.  He was the kindest, generous, selfless, loving person a family could wish for.  He loved writing poetry, taking walks with his family pets, listening to music particularly from the 1980’s, playing the lotto and especially enjoying time with his family.  He loved every holiday as he always enjoyed the festivities and the family gatherings.

He is survived by his mother Lydia Rinaldi; his loving sister Lydia Jones and her husband Peter Jones of Farmington; his sister Barbara Carlson of New Britain; his brother Jay Rinaldi; his niece Vicky Rivera, her husband Alberto Rivera and their children Aloria and Gabriel of Unionville; his niece Natalie Jones of Farmington; his nephew Eric Doody and daughters Angelina and Rebecca. He was predeceased by his loving niece Daphne D. Doody LCpl.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, Dec. 22, 2020 at 11 AM at Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home, 411 So. Main St., New Britain followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 12 PM at Divine Providence Parish, St. Joseph Church in New Britain.  Burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery.
