OBITUARY: Christian Bator Christian Bator, 72, of New Britain, died Tuesday, Sept. 3, 2002 at New Britain General Hospital after a courageous battle with lung cancer. Born in New Haven CT. on May 30, 1930, he was the son of Felix and Mary Berk Bator. He graduated from New Britain High School in 1948 and attended Eli Whitney Vocational Technical School in Hamden. He was formerly employed at Hamilton Standard, Div. of UTC, retiring in 1993. He was a US Army Veteran of the Korean War. He is survived by his wife, Irene Bator; two daughters and sons-in-law, Kathleen and Laurance Tessier, and Linda and Gary Bazzano; two granddaughters, Emily and Hilary Bazzano; two sisters, Mary Benoit of Bradley, IL and Felecia Kowal of Pautucket, RI; and several nieces and nephews including Sandra Kelsey. Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Central CT, 40 East St., Plainville, CT.
