Charles Eric Mullen

Charles Eric Mullen born on December 29, 1964 in Waterbury, CT entered into rest on November 26th, 2018. He was the son of the late Ivoin and Mary Mullen of Waterbury, CT. Eric has been a long-time resident of New Britain, CT attending local schools. He graduated from New Britain High School in 1981 and from The New England School of Broadcasting in 1983. He had a love for music which led him to become a DJ at Central Connecticut State University’s Campus radio station. Eric was a kind soul and was known for sharing uplifting, spiritual messages of encouragement on social media and to others around him even during his personal struggle. He had a great sense of humor and enjoyed making people laugh. Eric was loved and will be greatly missed by his family and friends. He is survived by his sisters Mary L. Gant and Jackie Moye, brother Shelly C. Mullen “Butchie”, and nephew Casey Mullen as well as a host of nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his brother Ivoin Mullen Jr. “Buster” of New Britain, CT, his nephew Mark Mullen of New Britain, CT and his close friend and brother Joey Kirk of Vernon, CT.
