Charles E. Brault

Charles Edward Brault, 81, of New Britain, passed away on Saturday, March 4, 2023 at the Hospital of Central CT in New Britain.

Born in Hartford, he was the son of the late Albert and Elizabeth (Willard) Brault.  Charles was a resident of New Britain most of his life and was formerly employed as an HVAC technician.  He was a Friend of Bills and enjoyed traveling, good food, antiques, cars and motorcycles, and yard work.  Charles was a mentor, friend and advocate to many people, touching their lives in a special way.

Surviving are his spouse, Calvin Jones; four children, David Brault of Montana, Julie Grano and her husband Ray of Suffield; Amy Pitts of Portland, and Ellen Brault of Suffield; a sister, Carol Sutherland and her husband Terry of Coventry; two brothers, Lawrence Brault of Higganum and Robert Brault of Pennsylvania; his mother-in-law, Jessie Moore of New Britain; five grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; special friends, Christian, Alexander and Julio; and his dog, Luka.  In addition to his parents, Charles was predeceased by his former wife, Pamela Brault.

Calling hours will be held on Saturday, March 11, 2023 from 11 AM to 1 PM at Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home, 411 So. Main St. New Britain, with Words of Remembrance to be shared at 12 PM.
