Ceferino Vega

Ceferino Vega, 93, of New Britain, widower of Rosario Vega, died Monday, Feb. 27, 2012 at home surrounded by his loving family. Born in Gurabo, Puerto Rico, he was a member of Iglesia de Dios Casa del Alfarero. Surviving are his children, Edna, Ramon, Elizabeth, Sammy and Ana L.; one brother, Luis Vega, twelve grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; and one great great-grandchild. Funeral services and calling hours will be held at the Iglesia de Dios Casa del Alfarero, 45 Noble Street, New Britain, CT 06051 on Thursday from 5-9 PM. A procession will leave from the church on Friday at 11:00 AM to go to St. Mary Cemetery where the burial will take place. Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
