Catherine "Kitty" Pagan

Catherine “Kitty” Pagan age 42, passed away unexpectedly on June 30,2020. Born in Caguas, Puerto Rico she was the beloved daughter of Estervina Salgado and husband Juan Salgado of Bristol, CT and the late Hector Manuel Pagan. She grew up in New Britain, CT and was a long-time resident of Springfield, MA. Along with her mother and stepfather, Catherine is survived by her daughters Clarissa Rodriguez and her two children of Northampton, MA and Julie Rodriguez and her two children of Waterbury, CT. Her sisters Angela Pagan of Waterbury, Esmeralda Pagan of Waterbury, Cynthia Pagan of New Britain and her brother Francisco Rivera and wife of Newington. In addition, Catherine leaves behind fourteen nieces and nephews, many loving aunts, uncles and cousins. Catherine had a gift of always making people laugh, she will be remembered for her smile that could light up even the darkest room. She was kind and sweet to everyone she met, and was an absolute joy to be around, she will be missed dearly by all her family and friends.

Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, July 7, 2020 from 2-4 pm at the Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home, 411 S. Main Street New Britain. Face masks are required.
