Casimira "Fefa" Cendan

Casimira "Fefa" Cendan, 86, of Plainville, passed away on Friday, Aug. 1, 2014 at home surrounded by her loving family. Born in Cuba, she was a former Hartford resident before moving to Plainville in 2003. She was a member of Iglesia Bautista La Hermosa in New Britain. Surviving are two daughters, Marta Cendan of Plainville, Grisel Mireles and her husband Phil, also of Plainville; three grandchildren, Beatrice Vargas, Alexandra Mireles, and Samantha Mireles; and two great-grandchildren, Bethany Claro and Abigail Claro. She was predeceased by a daughter, Norma Lopez. A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday at 7 PM at Iglesia Bautista La Hermosa, 456 East St., New Britain. Calling hours will be from 5-7 PM at church. Funeral Services will be held on Monday at 9:30 AM at church with a procession leaving for Fairview Cemetery at 11:00 AM. Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
