Carolyn Starzec

Carolyn Rose Starzec, 63, of Cromwell, passed away peacefully on Dec. 22, 2011. Born in New Britain, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Lucy (Ducki) Starzec. Carolyn was a longtime Cromwell resident and a member of St. John Church. She was formerly employed at Northeast Utilities for over 30 years, retiring from their Human Resources department . Carolyn was a member of the Retirees of Northeast Utilities. She loved to play golf and belonged to many golf associations. Surviving are her brother and sister-in-law, Thomas and Linda Starzec of Guilford, a sister, Joyce Faraci of Middletown, several nieces, nephews and many friends. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 28, 2011 at 10:00 am at Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home, 411 So. Main St., New Britain, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am at St. John Church, Cromwell. Burial will be in Maple Cemetery, Berlin.
