Caroline Grace Sataline

Caroline Grace Sataline, 93, of Kensington, passed away peacefully on Friday, Nov. 18, 2005 at Hartford Hospital surrounded by her loving family. She was the widow of William Sataline who died in 1998. Born in New Britain she was the daughter of the late Charles E. and Rose Seipel Wood. She was a Kensington resident for over 45 years and was formerly employed at Marlin Rockwell TRW before retiring. Caroline was a member of the Kensington United Methodist Church. She enjoyed crafts, sewing projects, gardening and camping in the family trailer at the Rhode Island shore. Surviving are her son, William C. Sataline and his wife Gaile of Windsor Locks; a daughter, Carol Richardson and her husband Rev. Robert Richardson of Wareham, MA; three grandchildren, Seth Richardson, Katherine Richardson Carr and her husband Kevin, and Peter Richardson; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two brothers, Grant and Charles Wood, and by four sisters, Rachel Wood, Lillian Bosco, Mildred Brancieri, and Dorothy Kucia The family would like to express their heartfelt thanks to the doctors and staff at Hartford Hospital, including Stephanie, Lucy and Chaplain Synthia Major, as well as doctors and staff at UCONN Health Center, geriatric care specialists, including Dr. Renna, Dr. Gail Sullivan, and Elisa DePalma for their loving care and special consideration. Funeral services will be held Monday at 11:00 AM at Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home, 411 S. Main St., New Britain. Burial will be in Maple Cemetery. Calling hours are Sunday from 4-8 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Hartford Hospital or to the charity of the donor's choice.
