Carol A. Hill

Carol Ann (Pierce) Hill, 75, of New Britain, beloved mother, passed away on Friday, June 7, 2019 at Uconn (John Dempsey Hospital). Carol was born in New Britain, CT, November 20, 1943 the daughter of the late George and Alice Pierce.
Carol graduated from New Britain High School.  She was a life time Member of Spottswood AME Zion Church. Carol worked at General Electric for 33 years and was also a Certified Nurse’s Aide. Carol’s most cherished accomplishment were her children and grandchildren.  She was an awesome single parent and had a heart for all children.
Carol is survived by her children Ergie Marie Boddie her husband Frank of New Britain CT, Gloria Hill-DeAndrade her husband Augusto of New Britain, CT, Todd George Hill and his wife Temora of Newington CT.  9 Grandchildren: Isaiah, Joshua, Jared, Janaya, Dajion, Cierra, Elisha, Cayden and Mason.  A very special Aunt Gloria Lancaster and son Aaron Boddie.  A host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other close relatives and friends.  Carol was predeceased by one sister Joyce Pierce and one brother George Pierce Jr..
Services will be held on Friday, June 14, 2019, calling hours at 11 a.m. and Celebration Service at 12 p.m. at Spottswood AME Zion Church, 25 Crestwood Lane, New Britain, CT. Carol we will cherish your memories and miss you dearly!
