Carol A. Formato
Carol A. Formato, 74, of New Britain, beloved wife of Gennaro Formato, passed away on Tuesday, May 30, 2017 at the Hospital of Central CT.
Born in New Britain, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Anna (Kupchick) Zbigniewicz. Carol was a former Plainville resident before moving to New Britain. She was formerly employed at Travelers Insurance Company and Burritt Bank. Carol was a member of St. Ann’s Church.
Surviving are her husband, Gennaro Formato, three children, Mary Ann Johnson, Nicole Lahoud, and Christine Bravo and her husband Robert; a sister, Mary Plourde; and two grandchildren, Elizabeth Lahoud and Seth Lahoud.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday at 11:30 AM at St. Ann’s Church. Burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery at a later date. Calling hours are Thursday morning from 9-11 AM at Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home, 411 So. Main St., New Britain.Past Services
