Carmen Madera

Carmen N. Madera, 50, of New Britain, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, Jan. 23, 2014 at home. Born in Puerto Rico, she was the daughter of Monserrate Feliciano and the late Eugenio Madera. She was a New Britain resident for 33 years and was formerly employed at Viking Aluminum. Surviving are her daughter, Abigail Ruiz of New Britain; her mother, Monserrate Feliciano of Puerto Rico; her companion, William Rosado of New Britain; a granddaughter, Izabella Nieves; and many brothers and sisters. Funeral services and calling hours will be held on Tuesday from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home, 411 So. Main St., New Britain. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.
