Carmen A. Casiano Camacho

Carmen A. Casiano Camacho, age 62, entered eternal rest on December 8, 2025. She was born on December 26, 1962, in Lajas, Puerto Rico, and moved to New Britain, Connecticut, in 1964, where she was raised and spent most of her life.

Carmen grew up in the Corbin and Pinnacle Heights neighborhoods and was known for her vibrant personality and loving heart. She had a deep love for music and dancing, enjoyed gardening, and took pride in her many DIY projects. A true jack of all trades, Carmen found joy in creating, fixing, and caring for others.

She dedicated ten years as a stay-at-home mother, raising her children with love, discipline, and devotion. Later, she returned to work as a private homemaker and companion, a role that reflected her compassionate and nurturing spirit.

Carmen loved and cherished God and her family above all else. She was accepting, nonjudgmental, generous, humble, and kind. Known for being the life of the party, she loved to laugh, celebrate, and bring people together. Carmen worked hard her entire life and took great pride in being a devoted wife, a loving mother, and an exceptional grandmother.

She is survived by her three children, Gracey Gonzalez, Nadine Gonzalez, and Pedro J. Gonzalez Jr.; her life partner and the father of her children, Pedro J. Gonzalez Sr.; her grandchildren, Carmen, Adontayh, Brihanna, Austin, Adrianna, Ry’lee, and Zahir; and her great-granddaughter, Aniylah. She is also survived by her loving mother, Carmen Luisa Camacho Rivera; her sister, Myrna Casiano; and several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her father, Valentin Casiano Roman, and her brother, Jorge L. Casiano.
