Carmelle Cote

Carmelle G. (Plourde) Cote, 80, of Berlin, widow of Bertrand J. Cote, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, Feb. 12, 2015 at Connecticut Hospice in Branford. Born in Lewiston, ME, she was the daughter of the late Adelard and Almee (Gagnon) Plourde. Carmelle was a Berlin resident since 1962 and was formerly employed as a receptionist at M.R.I. of New Britain. Surviving are four sons, Timothy Cote of Indio, CA, Ted Cote of Berlin, Thomas Cote and his wife Renae of Las Vegas, NV, and Terrence Cote and his wife Susann of St. Johns, FL; four grandchildren, Thomas, Rebecca, Jillian and Taylor; a brother, John Plourde; a sister, Violet Crespo; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 11 AM at Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home, 411 So. Main St. New Britain. Burial will be in the State Veterans Cemetery in Middletown. A calling hour will be held Tuesday from 10 AM until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Salvation Army, 78 Franklin Sq. New Britain, CT 06051.
