Carlos O. Rosales, 53, of East Hartford, beloved husband of Irma Rosales, died unexpectedly on Thursday, Nov. 3, 2011. Born in Honduras, he was the son of Justina (Varela) Rosales of Honduras and the late Pedro Rosales. Carlos was a former Hartford resident and a resident of East Hartford for the past 5 years. He was well known auto mechanic in the area, having owned Rosales Auto Service and currently working at Stop Car Garage. He was a member of Faith Temple in Hartford and the Honduras Relief Committee. Surviving are his wife, Irma Rosales; his children, Saadia Rosales of Hartford, Carlos Rosales Jr. of Honduras, Rafael Rosales and Josue Rosales, both of East Hartford; his mother, Justina (Varela) Rosales of Honduras; three brothers, Julio Rosales and Pedro Rosales, both of Bridgeport, and Roberto Rosales of Miami, FL; a sister, Mirian Rosales of Honduras; a granddaughter, Julissa Mercado and a grandchild to be born in February of 2012; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 9, 2011 at 7:00 PM at Faith Temple, 993-1019 Broad St., Hartford. Calling hours are Wednesday from 5-9 PM at Faith Temple. Burial will be in Honduras.
