Cal Kounaris

Cal Kounaris, 90, of New Britain passed away peacefully at home on Friday, Oct. 12, 2018.

Born in New Britain, She was a lifelong resident.  Cal was a co-owner of Connecticut Automatic Sales before retiring.  She was a member of St. George Greek Orthodox Church, and was a former member of the choir at church.   Cal had two passions in life after her church and family, which were traveling and shopping.  She was proud to have taken 42 cruises and traveled all over the world.

Surviving are her daughter Eva Poulos of Avon; her son, William “Bill” Poulos of Jupiter, FL; her twin brother, Alex Kounaris of Wethersfield; and three nieces, Cynthia Kounaris, Allyson Kounaris and Adrian East.  The family would like to thank Cal’s neighbors, Liza and Dwayne, for their loving care over the past few years.
