Biagio Antonio D’Anna, 51, of New Britain, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday December 11, 2021, at the Hospital of Central Connecticut with his family by his side.
Biagio was born on July 17, 1970 in New Britain, Connecticut to Judith (Dumond) D’Anna and the late Anthony D’Anna.
Biagio was a long time resident of New Britain. He was a kind and loving man who prided himself on caring for those closest to him. He was a wonderful father, brother, uncle, and son, who loved unconditionally. He had a soft spot for animals and a special place in his heart for all of his fur babies. Biagio enjoyed traveling and being able to see and experience new places. His favorite part of any new place was the sandy white beaches and crystal clear waters. But most of all he loved spending time with his family. He was always happiest when he was in the center of all the commotion and was lending a helping hand in any way he could to his loved ones.
Biagio leaves behind his mother Judith D’Anna of New Britain; his daughter, Victoria D’Anna and her fiancé, Zachary Ludecke of Spartanburg, S.C., son Brandon D’Anna of New Britain, step-daughter, Erica Mara of Danielson; ex-wife and always good friend, Hope Calve of Vernon; brother Jayson D’Anna of New Britain, brother Anthony D’Anna and wife Vanessa of Berlin; nephew and nieces, Anthony, Arianna, and Katherine; and many more relatives and close friends.
Dad, you will be missed tremendously and the memories of you will be cherished by each and every one of us. You will forever be in our hearts. We love you.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, December 21, 2021 at 1:00 PM at St. Mary Cemetery, 1309 Stanley Street, New Britain.
