Bernice Froeba

Bernice Froeba, 92, formerly of New Britain, passed away on Sunday, Oct. 1, 2017 at Ledgecrest Healthcare Center.

Born in New Britain, she was the daughter of the late George F. and Edith (Galpin) Froeba.  Bernice was a resident of New Britain most of her life and was formerly employed as an Executive Secretary at Stanley Works.  She was a member of the Stanley Works Girls Club.  Bernice loved bowling, traveling, swimming and cooking.

Surviving are two sisters, Marian Plagemann of Madison, and Margaret Murphy and her husband Francis of New Britain; three nephews, George Froeba, Jr., Karl Plagemann, and Francis Murphy Jr.; and two nieces, April Kosier and her husband Mike, and Linda Kornhi and her husband Mike.  In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a brother, George L. Froeba, Jr.
