Benito Ramos

Benito Ramos, 84, of New Britain, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, Nov. 25, 2014 at Touch Point in Farmington. Born in Gurabo, Puerto Rico, he was the son of Juan Ramos and Escondiana Guadalupe. Benito was a resident of New Britain for 17 years and was formerly employed at St. Francis Hospital. Surviving are his wife, Sixta (Reyes) Ramos; four children, Benito Ramos Jr., Elizabeth Rodriguez, Sadoc Ramos and Migdalia Reyes; five step children, Elizabeth Olson, Juan Reyes, Robert Reyes, Ramon Reyes, and David Reyes; nine brothers and sisters, David Ramos, Juan Ramos, Eliseo Ramos, Maria Ramos, Iris Ramos, Gladys Ramos, Antonia Ramos, Paquita Ramos, and Eurubina Ramos; nine grandchildren, and twelve great-grandchildren. Funeral services and calling hours will be held on Monday from 2-4 PM at Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home, 411 So. Main St., New Britain.
