Armida Delrio

Armida (Rivera) DelRio, 76, beloved wife of Juan DelRio, passed away on Monday, November 15, 2021, surrounded by her loving family.  She was born in Puerto Rico to the late Evaristo and Armida (Fontaine) Rivera.

Armida was a member for several churches in New Britain and very active in the Pentecostal community. Armida was a devoted Christian member, Secretary, Treasurer, Deacon, Sunday School teacher, and above all a heart of gold mother.

In addition to her husband, Armida is survived by her daughter: Elsa Milagros DelRio; her son: Hector “Efrain” DelRio and his wife; her sister: Olga Rivera; her five grandchildren: Kimberly, Joshua, Justin, Kayla, Yasmine; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her two brothers: Edwin and Evaristo; and her sister: Yvette.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, November 19, 2021 at 12 PM at Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home, 411 So. Main St., New Britain.  Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery.
