Antone Andrews, Jr.

Antone Andrews Jr., 75, of New Britain, died unexpectedly on Friday, June 22, 2007 at home. Born in Wareham, MA, he was the son of the late Antonio and Fremina Gonsalves Andrews. He was a New Britain resident for over 50 years and was formerly employed at Fafnir Bearing Co. for 35 years before retiring. He was a US Army Veteran. Surviving are a daughter, Donna Jefferson of New Britain; a son, Antone Andrews III of Vernon; a brother, Jack Andrews of Plymouth, MA; two sisters, Janet Brown of Bloomfield and Alice Ferandes of Boston, MA; six grandchildren, Niaomi Jefferson Carter, Nicole Andrews, Belinda Jefferson, Corey Jefferson, Gregory Jefferson and Alexandra Andrews; one great grandchild, Elijah James Carter; and several nieces and nephews. Private funeral services will be held at Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Veterans section at Fairview Cemetery.
