Antoinette "Toni" Price

Antoinette “Toni” Price, 94, passed away peacefully in her sleep on September 1,
2024.

Toni’s father, John Papaioanou, came to America from Greece and married her
Italian mother, Susie Raverta. She graduated from Classical High School and
American International College in Springfield, MA. She later became a teacher at
a number of different schools.

Toni was married to Rev. Wayne Price for 70 years. They were partners in their
Christian ministry at churches in Mt. Vernon, NY; Becket, MA; West Springfield,
MA; and Portsmouth, NH (Middle Street Baptist Church). Their commitment to
serving others was a model for their parishes.

In addition to her husband Wayne, Toni is survived by her three children and
spouses, Mark (Jane), Peter (Cindy), and Ruth (Rob); her grandchildren and
spouses, Joshua (Ashley), Carl (Cassy), Jordan, Andrew (Liz), Zachary and Nicole;
and four great grandchildren, Caleb, Oscar, Lydia and Ian.

One of Toni’s favorite people was Mother Theresa, who said, “We do not do great things, we do only small things with great love.” Toni’s numerous small acts of kindness to her family and friends–and to those who were underprivileged–will never be forgotten. She loved many and was loved by many.

A memorial service was held on Saturday, September 7, 2024 at Covenant Living of Cromwell.
