Anthony J. Taricani

A man's life is measured by the hearts and lives he touched and loved within, by those he loved and those who loved him. The measurement of this man goes on a mile, for every inch and foot marked by his caused smile. A life filled with doing for others above doing for yourself was his, A man who sacrificed throughout his life so others could enjoy and live. The lord has welcomed home one of his best sons. Anthony James Taricani Sr. died on Monday, May 3, 2010 peacefully at New Britain General Hospital after a long battle with multiple illnesses. His true joy in life was being involved in the lives of his children and grandchildren, where he taught religious education at St. Ann, was a den leader for the Cub Scouts of America, Pack 8 at Smith Elementary School in New Britain, a team parent for the Tigers of the Fagan Little League, and an avid member of the Parent Sports Booster program at St. Ann Middle School.
